Ms. Carter is also a nationally renowned keynote speaker. She has headlined lectures for the American Psychiatric Association, The American Psychological Association, SAMSHA, the LA County Department of Mental Health, California Annual Law Enforcement and Mental Health Conference, Southern California Black Psychiatrists Association and the National Association of Black and Hispanic State Legislators.
Ms. Carter has appeared on BET, Power 106, 92.3 the Beat and PBS. She was featured in a special section on mental health in the Los Angeles Times magazine.
